Scale The Tower
A downloadable game for Windows
A 3D, three level puzzle game made during the GMTK 4 day Game Jam 2024. Solo developed. All assets are made during this time utilizing only unreal engine standard and starter content. Except the two music files that are credited in the end of the game.
Post Jam Update: V1.1 with:
- Removed Motion Blur
- Tweeking of level 3, adding more "player grace" and removing unintended shortcuts.
- 4x the acceleration - making platform jumping easier.
Controls
W, A, S, D to move.
Space to jump
LMB to interact with controller boards.
Escape to toggle the Menu.
Challenges
To help you solve the puzzles, you have to look around and notice what you are changing and how much you can change it.
Tip: To help you see what you are changing, take a step back, or try to hold the left mouse button down, you can walk and look around, while "holding" the slider.
The jumping puzzles are not about reaching a redicules precis level of scaling. If you are unable to reach a point, you are likely missing something. Notice the black jumping height guider lines.

Install instructions
Short Guide
Download -> Extract -> Locate and run: ScaleTheTower.exe.
Long Guide
- Download the file named ScaleTheTower.rar.
- Extract the File, Using WinRAR or 7-Zip
- To extract the .rar file, you'll need a file extraction program like WinRAR. If you don't have one, you can download WinRAR from win-rar.com. Alternatively, you can use other extraction tools such as 7-Zip, which is available at 7-zip.org. Once you have an extraction program installed, right-click on the ScaleTheTower.rar file and select "Extract Here" or "Extract to ScaleTheTower" to unpack the contents.
- Open the Extracted Folder and locate the ScaleTheTower.exe file.
- Install and run the game
- When double-clicking the ScaleTheTower.exe file, you will install the necessary Unreal Engine components and launch the game.
